SH Vega features a Polar Class 5 (PC5) ice-strengthened hull, which allows it to explore the furthest corners of the polar regions safely. Giant stabilisers help keep the ship steady and prevent rolling during sea crossings. Dining on SH Vega

SH Vega is noted for its outstanding cuisine. The Swan restaurant is the main dining room, with seating for all guests. Meals are prepared daily by the ship’s onboard chefs. The menu is carefully prepared using locally sourced ingredients where possible.

Guests can also enjoy room service and in-suite dining 24 hours per day at no extra cost.

The Pool Bar Grill is a second dining option with an exterior area for breathtaking views.

The Club Lounge offers a perfect place to unwind and enjoy light bites and snacks.

Cabins On SH Vega

SH Vega features 76 staterooms, including six suites. The staterooms are all well-sized and have soothing flame-effect fireplaces that give a warm atmosphere. All cabins feature separate seating areas, HD TVs, individually controlled air conditioning, en suit bathroom, a minibar and espresso machine, a bathrobe, slippers, and luxury toiletries.

Oceanview staterooms feature a double bed or two single beds, a seating area, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom. They also have two large windows to take in the breathtaking scenery.  

Balcony staterooms have a double bed or two single beds, a separate lounge area, a luxurious bathroom, and a private balcony with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Suites and Premium Suites have a double bed bedroom with King size bed, separate living room area, walk-in wardrobe, luxurious ensuite bathroom, and private balcony.

Onboard Experience

SH Vega features a large observation lounge and bar on deck 7 at the bow, with floor-ceiling windows, perfect for appreciating the scenery while sailing in the polar regions.

The club lounge on deck 7 is a smaller lounge serving food and drinks throughout the day.

The bow of the ship has a viewing platform, a great place to take in all the sights. The top deck is dedicated to stargazing, offering unobstructed views of the sky.

The wellness facilities on the ship feature a panoramic sauna with outdoor hot tub. Guests can also take advantage of a fitness centre with the latest gym equipment and training machines. The spa offers a range of treatments.

The ship is equipped with a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system which reduces noise.
