Andy is an experienced polar travel professional, and is the founder and managing director of Polar Escapes, a leading travel agency specialising in expedition cruises and tours to the Arctic and Antarctica.
With more than 15 years first-hand experience Andy has widely travelled the polar regions on a range of expedition ships and is an expert in the polar regions. He has sailed across the Drake Passage to Antarctica and South Georgia, explored East Greenland on an icebreaker and has done multiple expeditions to Svalbard.
His most recent expedition was on Le Commandant Charcot to explore the sea ice of East Greenland.

Previous Work Experience
Andy previously co-founded the tour operator start-up Secret Atlas, offering small ship expeditions in Svalbard. Andy then founded Polar Escapes in 2023 to focus solely on providing an outstanding travel agency experience across the polar regions.
